Welcome to our Annual Report 2020, a year that has been characterized by the Covid-19 pandemic, which has had an effect all over the world and, as a consequence, also on ICMAB. The Annual Report 2020 summarizes the research and institutional activities, and the financial status of our Institute for the year. Scientific Highlights

The Scientific Highlights are the core of our Report. Our Institute is characterized by its high quality research outcomes and by its highly talented people. In 2020 we published 267 publications, 87 % of which were in the first quartile (SJR) and 73 % in collaboration with researchers abroad!

Research Staff

ICMAB is the people. During 2020, 395 people have been working at the ICMAB, either as an undergraduate or MSc student, as a PhD or postdoc researcher, as a technician or maintenance staff, working in administration or project managing, or as a full time scientist. 43 % of them are women and 57 % are men.
